100 days with Daddy-Long-Legs and I (Korean Movies)

100 days with Mr. Arrogant

I’m not used to see Kim Jae-won arrogant because he was lovable in the series Wonderful Life. But as this movie moves forward, the heart of his character, Lee Young-jun, softened because of Kang He-young whom he met in an unusual accident. Yet the usual Korean thing happened, a love story out of another contract. He-young played by Ha Ji-won must be a slave of this arrogant man for 100 days.

What I only like on this movie was the romantic way, the writer thought; on how will Young-jun reveal his love to He-young. Sometimes, I wish a man would do a sweet thing secretly for my benefit. That happened to He-young.

If you are not a Kim Jae-won or Ha Ji-won fan, then don’t watch this movie.

Daddy Long Legs

Another story with a character dying…The truth is, I expected it to be the same story of the classic novel—Daddy Long Legs, yet it wasn’t. In fairness to the Korean writer, the story has a creative and unique twist that makes it different from the classic love story of Judy Abbot. I don’t want my romantic love story end up like Cha Young-Mi (Ha Ji Won). Her Daddy Long Legs suffered an illness and eventually died. Though I felt depressed after watching it, I’m still glad I watched the movie because of the very creative twist. It gives me tips on how to write a story.

My Girl and I

I didn’t like this movie because it’s so predictable… Well, the whole love story was a flashback—then another leukemia role from Song Hye Kyo—with Cha Tae Yun who became unlovable and boring in my eyes. Expect the usual sweet scenes and fighting for love…nothing’s new. The writer, though, tried to evoke emotions of longing-ness using flowers and the sea. The flowers touched me.

I’m agree with lord jedi. Crying Out Love in the Center of the World japanese version is so touching.. You can watch the movie and the drama series or also read the novel or the manga/ comic.

Daddy Long Legs is definately one of my fave Korean movies after A Moment to Remember, A Bittersweet Life, Addicted, and Innocent Steps. The creative twist is one of the element that makes the story really interesting. I remember how puzzled i am when watching it but towards the end, everything is reaveled and all the things fall into places. An excellent movie. Plus, from all the movies that I watched Ji Won in, I like her the best in here. She’s most suitable to play innocent girl compared to her other sexy roles in her other movies.

100 days with Mr. Arrogant is fun in the beginning but it declines towards the end. Kreah, you should watch the Japanese version of My Girl and I. Crying Out Love in the Centre of the World was made first based on a famous Japanese novel. Perhaps you will like the Japanese version better.

Weird yung 100 days with Mr Arrogant, pero I fell in love with Kim Jae Won doon (still am, come to think of it). Weird kasi yung acting ni Ha Ji Won… saka wala silang chemistry aside from the last kiss… hehehehe. Buti na lang nag-improve yung chemistry nila sa Hwang Jin Yi.
