Whhhoooaaa!!! This series really has a great plot!!! Funny. Romantic. Sweet. And of course, Lee Min Ki!!! I am gaga over him. I think I need to change my Top 10 Crushes List by now and include Lee Min Ki!!! I added him already in My Top 10 list! I love his eyes and lips!!! WAAAA!!! I am sinful!!! :oops:

Lee Min Ki in Dal Ja’s Spring

Anyway, Dal Ja’s Spring is about a never-been-kissed, no-boyfriend-since-birth, 32 going 33 year old woman. Her first boyfriend in 32 years of living turned out to be a playboy and wants s*x immediately. Unfortunately, Dal Ja is a wrong target since she’s totally ignorant about these stuffs. So she has to hire a fake boyfriend to save her pride. And her now fake boyfriend is six years younger than her, and that’s Lee Min Ki’s role!!! :oops:

Oh Dal Ja is totally new to love relationships, totally innocent on kisses, on dating hints. Synopsis

‘Dalja’s Spring’ is the story of Dalja, a 33-year old single at a crossroad of whether to remain single or get married before she gets older. The drama aims to comically and candidly portray the reality and undying pursuit of romance of a thirty something single woman.

The love triangle of Dalja, Taebong and Gijoong brews conflicts over love versus marriage. Taebong, a hunk six years younger than Dalja, works as substitute dates and becomes Dalja’s fake boyfriend. Gijoong is the type who dreams of an ideal and rational courtship. The drama also highlights the life and work of women in their thirties through Dalja who is a talented managing director at a home shopping channel.

Actress Chae Rim plays ‘Oh Dalja’ while actor Lee Min-gi is ‘Taebong,’ who freelances as a substitute date and develops feelings for his last client Dalja. Lee Hyeon-woo will play ‘Yeom Gijoong’ and Gong Hyeong-jin is cast for ‘Shin Sedo,’ a free romantist and Dalja’s ex. Actress Lee Hye-young plays ‘Wi Seon-joo,’ a 33-year-old home shopping show host with a brilliant sense in dating.

Casting

Chae Rim - Oh Dal-ja:
33-year-old promising home shopping channel managing director. She owns a house and a car thanks to a career driven life. She’s interested in men but is a disaster on real dates. She’s a professional in work but a novice in love. She begins a dreamy love affair with flirtatious coworker Shin Sedo but is enraged to find out about his infidelity. She hires a boyfriend by contract, Taebong, to seek revenge on Sedo.

Lee Min-ki - Kang Tae-bong:
27-year-old freelancer for a proxy dating agency. He begins to pretend as Dalja’s boyfriend. It takes people time to discover his warm heart due to his outspoken character. He develops feelings for Dalja.

Lee Hyeon-woo - Yeom Gi-joong:
36-year-old prospering businessman who heads an importing firm of foreign brand goods. He is polite and humble with reputable character. But he’s very possessive and hates to lose. He asks Dalja to start a relationship with him as he thought she would be comfortable and not have high expectations on love. He is aghast at her elementary dating experience but grows attracted to her more and more.

Lee Hye-young - Wi Seon-joo:
33-year-old home shopping network show host. A former hot model, she disappeared from the public eye when she married at 29. She returns three years later as a divorcee. The talented show host, who can be fussy and particular, gets on Dalja’s nerves. She is a dating genius who knows all dating rules there are and what not. Her skills shine in making Shin Sedo as her man.

    i just recently finished this CUTE drama! It’s really a lovely drama! Love Chae Rim n Lee Min Ki…heheh…he’s actually very young…only 22 yrs old. Funny thing is that in real life, Chae Rim is 28yrs old n Lee Min Ki is 22yrs old…also 6 yrs apart! = )

    i watch love truly in GMA too and lee min-ki is so adorable there! i bought a fake dvd (such a shame) since i feel that gma is airing the episodes pretty slowly…it’s a must watch! lee min-ki sings like a child in some scenes and he’s super adorable there!

    I slept like two hours just to finish this series… God, I so loved it! The soundtrack is reminiscent of the Full House OST, but its plot is way better than Full House. The Tae-bong and Dal-ja scenes were really adorable, and there were some really funny scenes, too. Chae Rim and Lee Minki had great chemistry. I’m currently on my 2nd recap… Addict!

    Love Lee Minki - he’s so adorable in this series. Also in I really, really like you…

    Over here in Singapore, KBS’s telecast is delayed by 2 weeks. But it’s better than nothing. My mum got hooked on Dalja’s Spring 1st. And she got me into it.

    I notice that Dalja has a really nice fashion sense here and my mum got involved in changing my style to look like her. Can you believe that?! YES - I PERMED my hair. Not as big as Dalja’s ‘cabbage -head’ thou.

    I watched Lee Min Ki in ‘Be Strong Geum Soo’n and ‘Truly like You’. Can say he looked the best in Daljas Spring.

    Hi I May 25 yrs of age, from the Philippines. I’d already finished Dalja’s Spring last march and i got hooked in it! Here in the phils. KBS play it twice a week every wed and thurs. And coz i cant speak nor understand korean language, thers a subtitle that easy to read. And thats it!
    Even my 3 year old daughter love it! esp the soundtrack.
    Felt sad when i watched the last episode

    Having read all the good reviews of Dalja Spring, I also really want to watch it. Hope the DVD is selling at my country so that I do not need to download it at the net. I wonder how can Lee Min Ki can be so charming and adorable in here. Having watch him in Love Truly, he is gifted to play a funny character. Can’t imagine how people can go crazy over him in here. Makes me wanna see this drama even badly. Having watched Chae Rim in All About Eve, Dating Now, and Cheers for Women, she looks weird in this drama ~ with all the big hair and thick mascara… With all the crazyness of Dalja Spring, I can’t wait to finnally download the whole drama and start to watching it…

    I also loved DalJa’s Spring! Just finished watching it in youtube.. but I will definitely get a copy with subtitle… I fell in love with Kang Tae Bong.. his character is so cute and charming.. He suits the role.. I like it when he smiles ang nod to Dal Ja.. jaw dropping.. and when he cries.. oh heart will definitely ache too.. I had so much fun watching this drama.. I hope everyone watch this and everyone finds their own Kang Tae BOng.. Love it!
