umm.. i REALLY wud like t0 learn k0rean language because i’m so addicted with their romantic and drama m0vies! actually they RULE ! i really d0 l0ve h0w they make audience laugh 0ut l0ud and then after wards cry s0 hard.. like in the m0vie, wind struck and sassy girl and parang juibo and beautiful girl(200 p0unds beauty)–i’m s0o0o0 int0 it and in their ost’s! that’s why i wnna learn their language s0 that i can understand k0rean s0ngs and m0vies even with0ut subtitles that w0uld be very C0OL!

Hi! Kreah, I like the Korean language. I only watch K-dramas and Movies with Korean audio. No dubbing stuff for me. Over the years I’ve picked up some short korean words and phrases often used in K-dramas. Sometimes I can make out what they are saying without looking at the subtitle. Now I’m learning hangul. Your Learn korean post really helps. thanks. btw great site.

you must have watch dal jas spring… if so, did you notice the artworks hanged on the walls inside the company where dal ja works? those art are pictures of women with heavy make up, unique hairstyle and i guess they also have long necks.

hi kreah, i really like your site coz i have found people who are very fond of korean drama and musics like me. I have tried my best learning hangeul through watching let’s speak korean and korean travellers thru arirang channel. Now i can read hangeul though confused on some letters
coz they are of the same characters like g and k, l and r, d and t.
I also learned and understand some words especially those often use and
heard in dramas. Thanks to you i have found people of same interest as mine. Kansahamnida, jongmal nomu nomu gomawoyo. annyeong!

I have a favor to ask you. My son have replaced the hard disc of our computer, unfortunately, the hangeul characters can not appear now. Can you help me to find a ways to retrieve it. What will I do to have the hangeul characters be appeared again in my computer, i’ve heard that i need to download something which i didn’t know, my son said he forgot already the links. Please help me. Gomaowoyo.

I also have a problem with my computer right now. It’s not working. I am on someone else’s PC so I may not be able to reply to you well.
I would assume that your son also have re-installed Windows on your new hard disk, and east languages has not been installed yet.
What you can try is install the languages using the Windows Installer CD.
1. Find the Regional and languages options in the control panel
2. Click languages
3. Check Install east asian languages
4. Insert the installation cd, and proceed with other instructions

I’ve learned writing hangul all by myself but i can’t get well used to with some characters like ㅂ, ㅅ,ㅆ, and a few others, well not all the time, but they change their sounds depending on their positions, right? anyways, is my name Masseu written like 맜스?

Im a Filipino…wow! Im really happy to know that Im not the only Filipino that’s interested -or should I say? Addicted?- to asian things =) We’ll Im not that interested to korean series and movies…but i really love their songs -and the artists!- Im more of a japanese fanatic though.
